ブログの評価基準（ひょうかきじゅん evaluation criteria）
みなさん、秋休みはどうでしたか？ きのうのフットボールの試合（しあい）では、ノートルダムがまたかちましたね (to win)。今年のチームはつよいですね！
前に、クラスでブログについて話しましたが、ブログの評価（ひょうか evaluation）は、学生のself evaluation と先生のevaluationにしようと思います。評価基準（ひょうかきじゅん evaluation criteria）は、去年つかったものとおなじ (same)でいいですね？Since we have not heard from anyone to add/revise the criteria, let's use the one from last year. このcriteriaとブログプロジェクトの目的（もくてき objective)をよく読んで下さい。ブログは宿題のrecordのためではありません。We will evaluate the project based on this criteria at the end of this fall semester.
(1)Language:

- Appropriate use of vocab/grammar/conjunction.
- Try not to use unfamiliar kanji (if you must, then put translation)
- Creative, descriptive, interesting, exciting
- Pictures, videos, media
- Personal posts in addition to requirements
- On topic for the class
- Links
- Simple
- Readable font
- Not too bright/overload with text
- Non-distracting layout
- Be on time with your work
- Anything assigned in class plus something interesting & worth sharing
- Dialogue with other blogs
- Respond to comments/questions in a timely manner
- Actively comment on other blogs
- Try to talk different people

留学のプレゼンテーション

明日とあさって、Matthew DonleyさんがCSLCで留学の経験（けいけん experience)についてプレゼンテーションをします。Donleyさんは、Sophia大学とMiddlebury Summer Schoolで勉強しました。みなさん、ぜひ行って下さい。

The topic of my presentation will be about the Japanese language. It will focus on the benefits of the language and how it can unlock opportunities for students. First, I will go through the benefits. Then I will begin to explain how Middlebury was a great experience in creating a great foundation for learning the language and preparing me for Japan. From that point, I will begin to talk about my experience abroad and the skills I gained from it. Finally, I will conclude with a bit about the Gilman Scholarship. Then there will be a Q&A session.
